Meet Mrs. Bowser
Welcome Courtney families! My name is Beth Bowser and I am the librarian at Courtney and Forbush Elementary. I am a graduate of Western Carolina University with a degree in elementary education and taught kindergarten and first grade for the first seven years of my public school career. I graduated from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a master of library and information science degree and have been a school librarian for the past 18 years. I work to fulfill the mission of the school library media program, which is to ensure that students are effective users of ideas and information. The school library strives to provide the school community with a wide range of materials to encourage growth in knowledge and a life-long love of reading, foster information literacy, and digital citizenship.
